Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a part of our Chef Team, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal execution, ensuring that our guests receive high-quality dishes in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is stored and handled safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
- Follow proper plating techniques to create visually appealing dishes
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting as a Line Cook
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
