We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be a hard working, respectful and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for food. A strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations is preferred. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals within the fry station according to the restaurant's recipes and specifications.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment is required.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
