We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up workstations and cleaning up after service.
Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A genuine passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills.
