This role is perfect for someone who:
Has 1-2 year's experience in a cafe / restaurant, with at least 1 year working in the kitchen, confident in food service and skilled in prepping and cooking fresh, seasonal dishes that are flavoursome and beautifully presented.
A great team player with a can-do attitude, happy to be part of the cafe 'All round' team including FOH, barista and opening & close responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:
Working within & Staying UpToDate with Safer Food, Better Business (SFBB) guidance and food safety practices.
Maintaining accurate and clear documentation in accordance with regulations.
Overseeing kitchen organisation and completing food preparation in line with current menu and delivery of quality & efficient food service.
Monitoring and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Preparation of a variety of beverage items including high quality barista drinks.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe and kitchen areas
Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking and processing orders efficiently.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Stay knowledgeable about our menu offerings, including seasonal specials and new products.
What We're Looking For
Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced food service whilst equally take the initiative and be an integral team player in quieter food service periods.
Creative flair with a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients
A proactive, "can-do" attitude and problem-solving mindset
Excellent organisation, time-management, and reliability with a sharp eye for quality and consistency
Ambition to evolve, work collaboratively and grow with the business
Requirements:
Minimum level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 preferable)
Catering or hospitality accredited qualifications desirable
1year+ working in a commercial kitchen on active food preparation & service
Flexibility to work various shifts, including some weekend hours (mainly wed-sat)
Barista trained desirable - although further training can be given.
Regular weekend shifts.
Please note village location (10minutes from M5 J23) Free parking onsite.
