We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items properly. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning tasks at the end of shifts.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation or as a chef in a restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in meal presentation. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
