Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times to ensure guest safety Support the team in managing stock levels, rotating ingredients, and reducing waste Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to guests

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.75 per hour
