We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and taste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large parties as required.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Culinary experience or qualifications are highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required.
Experience in meal preparation and serving is advantageous.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
