Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team at Angelina's Restaurant in Snodland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills further within a professional setting.
We also have an optional accomodation above the restaurant for applicants.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during service hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Ensure ingredients are stored correctly and stock levels are maintained Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to meet aesthetic standards Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members Experience in meal preparation, serving, and general kitchen operations is desirable A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes Ability to adapt quickly to busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 9.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
