We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during meal preparation and cooking.
Assist with the organisation of kitchen operations, including inventory management and stock rotation.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and maintain a smooth workflow.
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and excellence.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality meals.
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in a busy kitchen environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
