Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring that every plate meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation with care of allergens and intolerance

Duties

Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and marinating as per the menu requirements. Cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Participate in menu planning and development as needed, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

Extra duties:

Solely responsible to run a restaurant including all the tasks from open to close during 4pm to 9:30pm. Hours can be fluctuating according to work.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of cooking methods. Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is crucial for maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, with familiarity in serving techniques being an advantage. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a busy kitchen environment. Pay: 16,329.16-31,228.51 per year
