We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Chef de Partie/Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, maintaining food safety protocols, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and marinating meats.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food served.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
