Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate qualified Chef De Partie to join our well-established team of Chefs for around 40 hours per week over 4 working days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment using the finest quality local produce. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food preparation meets our restaurant's standards for quality, taste, and presentation. A strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential for this role.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed. Participate in the development of new menu items and specials.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping colleagues in the kitchen.
