We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to the kitchen management Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety standards Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, fostering a collaborative environment Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers, minimising waste Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to meet aesthetic standards

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or as a line cook is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices within a restaurant setting Experience working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating organisational skills under pressure Basic understanding of restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service principles
