We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as required. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the Head Chef. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
