As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes are visually appealing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Help with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the kitchen.
