We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly.
Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
