We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and to the satisfaction of our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining the flow of service during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering as required.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
