We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a good background in food preparation and kitchen service, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food production meets our high standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook fish, chips, and other menu items to a high standard
Ensure food is cooked to a high standard and served promptly
Maintain cleanliness of the fryer and kitchen area
Monitor stock levels and assist with orders as needed
Follow all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers
Duties will include preparing fresh fish to accurate portion sizes, making and working with the highest quality batter, chips and other traditional produce.
Have an understanding of daily business levels and co-ordinating the team accordingly.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed
