We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standards. You will play a vital role in our kitchen, contributing to the overall dining experience by delivering delicious meals efficiently and safely.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Follow proper serving techniques to present dishes attractively to guests.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant environment.
Culinary experience or relevant qualifications in food preparation are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
A team player who can communicate effectively with other staff members.
