Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and presented beautifully. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to create an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and marinating meats. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help in the development of new menu items by providing input based on customer feedback. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
