As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of food production and hospitality.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring all areas are maintained to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
Maintain high standards of food presentation, ensuring each dish meets the restaurant's quality expectations.
Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
