Here at Farmhouse Dine & Wine we are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will play a crucial role in the food preparation and meal assembly process, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down stations. Follow proper procedures for food storage, handling, and sanitation.

Experience

Previous experience as a chef in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
Must be willing to work a variety of shifts including evening and weekends.
