We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and meal preparation, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality dishes to our valued customers.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help in the development of new menu items and contribute creative ideas for meal preparation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
