Copper Still Restaurant & Bar on The Royal Mile in Edinburgh is looking for a Chef de Partie to work in a busy kitchen using fresh Scottish produce.

We offer a very good hourly rate and excellent tronc tips, with flexible hours and a great career progression.

Copper Still is part of a group of local Scottish Restaurants and Bars in the heart of the Old Town and Royal Mile where it is bustling with tourists, buskers and a buzzing atmosphere, it is a fun places to work with great customers. We serve locally sourced Scottish food, great cocktails, whisky, craft beers and wine.

Your role will be to delivery quality consistent food, assisting the Head and Sous Chefs on duty.

Responsibilities

Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality meals are served Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness, adhering to food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service Assist in menu planning and recipe development, utilizing culinary expertise Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a productive work environment Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
