We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to uphold health standards
Assist with meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation meets quality expectations
Support other kitchen staff during busy periods and collaborate effectively as part of the team
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to management
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Prior experience serving or interacting with customers is advantageous but not essential
