We are currently looking for a CDP to join our team at The Ballroom in The Old Crown Coaching Inn, Farringdon.
This is a unique opportunity to join a full brigade of award-winning chefs under the guidance of head chef Samuel Squires . The Ballroom at The Old Crown Coaching Inn boasts fine dining with a great atmosphere, having launched in June 2022, already gaining an fierce reputation for local produce and amazing dishes within the area. Boosting 2 rosettes we are pushing for a fully recognised 3 rosette restaurant by the end of the year.
This role would be best suited to a hardworking independent individual, who is looking to further their career in an incredibly successful upcoming company with uncapped opportunities, alongside aiding senior kitchen staff with putting your own stamp on our menus.
Ideally candidates will have 1+ years' experience as a CDP chef however passion and drive are equally just as important.
Most importantly at the Westbrook Hotel Company we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and keeps in front of market trends, adjacent to maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of current Health, Safety & Food Hygiene.

Key roles:
Daily activities are dependent on the needs of the head chef.
Playing a vital role in training a team of more junior chefs to help them to increase their knowledge and skills in different aspects of the kitchen.
Maintaining an up to date knowledge of current food safety standards and completing any training required.
Expediting food and ensuring the kitchen meets high standards of quality.
