We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest quality, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff members as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes that delight customers.
