56 North is an award winning family-owned, independent bar & restaurant serving local, fresh produce across our menu

We are looking for a Fringe Festival full or part time Chef to join our team who is passionate about food.

Ideal requirements of the Chef:



Have a real passion for food. Enthusiastic and Hard Working Previous experience of working in a busy environment. Ability to work under pressure Creative to help drive the menu Passion for presenting every dish as beautifully as the first. Experience working with fresh food. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions & work to detailed specifications.

The main tasks: -



Working with the team in menu planning Food preparation, cooking & presenting dishes according to company requirements & customer preferences/dietary requirements Be able to run the kitchen Communication with team members to ensure fast, efficient service. Place orders at the end of the night Food safety procedures and maintaining a safe & hygienic workplace
All applicants must be available from 1-26th August 2025 inclusive.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
