We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring that all food is fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help in the training of new kitchen staff as required.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Skills
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
