Chef de Partie (PART TIME 20 Hours)- Bar, Restaurant, Brewery & Event Venue

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Chef de Partie

to join our vibrant kitchen team at our German brewery, bier hall, and event space. This is a varied and exciting role that will see you working across multiple kitchen environments - from our large main kitchen hosting major events, to our outdoor kitchen unit serving guests in our bustling beer garden.

You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining the highest standards of food safety, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present menu items in line with established recipes, standards, and portion controls. Rotate between the

main events kitchen

and e

xternal kitchen unit

, adapting to different service styles and menus. Ensure all food preparation is carried out in full compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment across all kitchen areas. Assist with event catering, large scale service, and seasonal outdoor offerings. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver timely, high-quality service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with ordering as required. Uphold consistent quality control and presentation standards.

Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment. Background in both

high volume catering

and

a la carte service

is highly desirable. Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Versatility to adapt between different kitchens, menus, and service styles. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Passion for delivering memorable dining experiences, with an interest in

German/Scottish cuisine

a plus.
