Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food preparation, with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards Assist in the organisation and setup of workstations for meal service Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts Monitor food quality and presentation before serving Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Follow all food safety procedures, including proper storage and handling of ingredients Support the team during busy periods by assisting with serving when necessary

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Previous experience in serving or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential Commitment to working weekend shifts required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
