We are seeking 2 skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team, 1 full time and 1 part time chef.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages or discrepancies
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience, preferably in a restaurant setting
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of meal preparation techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality
A passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes for customers.
