Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience working in busy kitchen environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills whilst contributing to the delivery of high-quality dishes in a professional setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals to specification, and maintaining food safety standards throughout their shift.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve efficient workflow and high-quality output

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Experience in meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting is desirable Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering excellent customer service

Pay: From 15.00 per hour
