As a Chef de partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence while adhering to food safety regulations.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure the highest quality of dishes.
Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
