Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a keen interest in food preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to coordinate meal service efficiently. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on new dishes or improvements.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
