We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Responsibilities
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications.
Help cook a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in presentation and taste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Skills
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
