We are seeking a dedicated individual Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. Training will be provided if needed.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Requirements
Experience in food preparation or as a Chef in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential as training will be given if needed.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in meal preperation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
