Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards Cook a variety of menu items efficiently and consistently, maintaining quality and presentation Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing up and sanitising surfaces Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods Monitor stock levels and communicate with management regarding supplies needed Support meal preparation for special events or dietary requirements as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Previous experience in serving or assisting in a busy kitchen setting is advantageous A genuine passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-16.54 per hour
