We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations..
The successful candidate will be involved in menu planning, establishing recipes and cooking procedures. There could be the option of a 4 day week for the right candidate, rota's can also be catered to a 4 day - 5 day rotation.
Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards is essential.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of all dishes served.
Experience
Previous experience as a chef is essential.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
