We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our amazing kitchen team at The Tamil Crown and The Tamil Prince - pub style restaurants serving sharing plates of Indian food inspired by Tamil Nadu and other regions of South India.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to management
Ensure all food is stored correctly and rotated appropriately to minimise waste
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting a MUST
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience in meal preparation and working under pressure during peak hours
Experience with South Indian cuisine
