Job Description
The Kitchen Tap, is a modern style tap house with kitchen. that generates food for in-house guests and externally for collection and delivery. great smashed burgers, dirty fries, tacos and pizzas.
Hours: 35 hours over a 4/5 day week? hours very flexible.
Overview
We are looking for a competent Chef to join our team. we specialise in great urban and edgy food, from Smashed burgers / tacos / dirty fries and pizzas.
we make 90% of our dishes all in-house using fresh Ingredients.
Duties
Assist the head chef in prep and dish creation to the same standards every day. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used in accordance with food safety regulations Assist in the creation nee menu ideas as we go through seasons. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in general, including sanitising tools and work surfaces Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods Uphold the high standards of presentation, ensuring each dish is visually appealing before serving Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly desirable Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during service hours Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
