Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation. Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout the cooking process. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
