Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to specified recipes and standards Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area to ensure health and safety compliance Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency Follow food safety procedures diligently, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain a clean workstation, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by assisting with meal assembly and plating as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations Experience in meal preparation and working with various kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Prior restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience being an advantage A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
