Job Description

We're opening a brand new Sushi Takeaway venue in the heart of North Norfolk's picturesque coastline for the summer, and we're looking for Sushi Aficionados to help us with Rolling, Cooking Rice, Packaging Sushi and Pressing Nigiri. This is an opportunity to be our business from day 0 and help make our first season a success.

Although experience with Sushi is preferrable, full training will be provided. We favour candidates who have a track record of delivering under the heat of service and are willing to learn a new cuisine to add to their skillset.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of delicious sushi to a high standard. Presentation of dishes to an 'instagrammable' level. Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety. Organisation and planning of stock levels. Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with health regulations. Great customer service, taking orders and processing payments through the till.

Requirements

A genuine passion for food and willingness to learn. Previous kitchen experience is preferred. Experience with wet fish and the preparation of shellfish is a bonus, however full training is provided. Ability to work under pressure, at pace and as part of a communicative team. Good time management and attention to detail. Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
