Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in the organisation and mise en place of ingredients for service Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and waste control Follow health and safety procedures diligently at all times

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Previous experience serving or working directly with guests is advantageous but not essential
