Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Cook food items efficiently and accurately, maintaining consistency across all dishes Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times Assist in organising the kitchen, including stock rotation and cleanliness of workstations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service Follow portion control guidelines and minimise waste in food preparation Support the team during busy periods, maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanour

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Previous experience in meal preparation, culinary techniques, and serving is desirable A passion for food, creativity, and continuous learning in the culinary arts Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings as required
