Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including food stations and utensils Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Monitor ingredient stock levels and notify management of shortages or expiry dates Ensure proper storage of ingredients and cooked food items in accordance with safety regulations Assist with dish plating and presentation to meet quality standards

Qualifications

Prior experience in food preparation or as a kitchen assistant is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices Experience working in a restaurant environment is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Good organisational skills and attention to detail Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
