Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and possess a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality meals to our guests in a timely manner. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Assist in the inventory management of food supplies and ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on meal preparation and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
