Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations Monitor food quality and presentation before serving Follow food safety procedures diligently, including proper storage and handling of ingredients Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Support other kitchen staff during peak hours or special events

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent attention to detail and consistency in meal presentation Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Previous experience in serving or working directly with customers is advantageous but not essential Culinary qualifications or relevant training are desirable but not mandatory
