We are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Chef de Partie
to join our kitchen team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have strong cooking skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine love for food and hospitality. You'll take ownership of your section, working closely with the Sous and Head Chef to deliver consistently high standards across all dishes.This is a great opportunity for an ambitious chef who wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Operations
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to company and brand standards.
Take responsibility for a designated section (grill, larder, garnish, etc.) and ensure it runs smoothly during service.
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in mise en place and prep for service, ensuring readiness for busy periods.
Teamwork & Communication
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily operations.
Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment.
Help train junior team members and share knowledge where possible.
Operational Support
Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and help with stock rotation.
Minimise waste through careful preparation and portion control.
Assist with the development of new menu items or specials when required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen.
Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of modern cooking techniques.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining consistency and composure.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Safety Certificate preferred).
